Materials:

On the day of the contest you will be given everything you need to succeed, but if you'd like to practice (highly recommended) you may use the following:

 

*Film Container

*Alka Seltzer

*water

Rules

1. You or your team must create a land rocket.  More specifically, something that travels along the ground as far as possible before being stopped by the force of friction

2. You can use any/all of the materials listed but the single requirement is that the straw, or part of the straw) be inserted into the balloon, with a portion of it sticking out, permanently.  If it falls out, your run will not count. 

3. The "rocket" that travels the farthest, wins!
